Engagement Models

Starting a relationship is simple, but what is required is not just the relationship, but a long and successful relationship. In today’s volatile economy, businesses need to reorient with market changes to provide flexible and innovative strategies.

The right partners are the ones who stand by you in executing the response to these market changes. STP Systems offers you the following business models to ensure your competitive advantage in a changing marketplace, with the option of combining one or more available business models to suit your business strategy.

Fixed Price

Our fixed price model offers customers a low-risk option and can be employed when the scope and specifications of the project are reasonably clear. As the model name itself suggests, a fixed price as agreed by both the parties has to be paid by the client. Thus, the client need not worry about any fluctuations in the payment as it is fixed due to the defined scope and requirement of the project. For any change request, fixed hourly rate agreed at the initial stage of the project is paid.

STP Systems follows a phased approach that includes scoping, development, implementation and application support. Based on our quality processes and methodologies it can ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget, with the solutions adhering to the defined measures of quality. This model guarantees the customers a tremendous advantage on the cost front.

Extended Team

In this model the team works as a virtual entity to the client's development team. In this model, the client can hire an individual to work dedicate as part of their team or grow the team to build its offshore development center.

In this model, the team works as part of the client team and is managed by them. Here the interaction of each individual is directly to the client. In this model client mostly has control of the project management and architecture of the project. This model is mostly used where the client is looking to reduce the cost of high-risk projects.

Time & Material

Where project requirements and scope are not clearly defined at the start of the engagement, Time and Material engagement model is opted for to minimize risk to both client and company. It is usually opted for by clients when they want to start the project immediately even if the project requirements are not completely evolved. Under this model STP Systems would assign a complete project team including project management, quality assurance, development team and infrastructure.

This Time and Material provides the flexibility to include change in scope and requirement of the project, adjust the team size to minimize cost and risk, and is not limited by a time period. The development effort is billed at the end of every month based on the team size and man hours invested in the project captured by timesheets.

Offshore Development Center (ODC)

When the client is looking for long term gains from outsourcing, the best way to achieve is by having an Offshore Development Center (ODC). ODC provides the flexibility of having a mix of engagement models, optimum utilization of resources among projects while having knowledge retention.

ODC works as an extended arm of the IT division of any organization to develop, maintain, test and support all projects, present and future. This provides the clients with maximum benefits in terms of cost and resources.
